Turin erupted in protest this Saturday with a pro-Palestinian mobilization that went far beyond slogans: blocked roads, stations targeted, and a cortege heading straight to Caselle Airport.
From the loudspeakers of the march, the message was clear and uncompromising:
👉 “Stop the Zionist entity of Israel.”
👉 “Block everything.”
The march began with hundreds of cyclists leading the way, followed by thousands of demonstrators marching behind a giant Palestinian flag and banners with hard-hitting slogans:
- “Stop the Israeli Third Reich that kills children and journalists.”
- “We block everything.”
The most striking image: a child with his face covered by a keffiyeh, holding a toy slingshot, symbol of past Intifadas.
✈️ Target: Caselle
Organizers were blunt: “Blocking the airport means inflicting direct economic damage and halting flights to Tel Aviv. These are the same flights that allow soldiers to rest in Italy from the genocide in Gaza.”
🔧 Leonardo in the crosshairs
Also targeted was the headquarters of Leonardo, the Italian military industry giant. Activists accused:
- “There they assemble parts of the Eurofighter Typhoon.”
- “There they produce drones, surveillance systems and cybersecurity technologies sold to Israel.”
⛔ A chain of blockades
Today’s protest was presented as the continuation of actions in recent weeks:
- blockades at Porta Susa and Porta Nuova stations,
- blockages of ring roads and highways,
- strikes as a form of work interruption.
“Blocking means cutting off complicity, starting with its military and economic forms,” concluded the organizers, reaffirming that Turin does not intend to ease the pressure.
