Buenos Aires, July 2025 – When the shadow of a mysterious private jet stretches across the tarmac of Aeroparque, the gossip winds take off before the engines. It’s not just any aircraft: it’s the unofficial Air Force One of the Argentine libertarian era —or as insiders call it, “Freedom Bird One”.

This time, it landed straight from Miami. But unlike regular flights, this one skipped customs as if liberty were its boarding pass. Ten suitcases walked off the plane without inspection, guided by figures who looked more like backup dancers for a Latin pop star than customs agents. Inside? Nobody knows —but surely, it wasn’t yerba mate and dulce de leche.

Reporters sniffed around, and soon enough, the government spokesman denied everything. “Nothing happened,” he claimed, like a child with crumbs on his lips denying cookie theft. The scandal has wings. And Chapter 1 is just the taxi on the runway.
