🧼 The Cut That Costs Us More

“There’s no worse investment than cutting healthcare for those who work. Except one: believing it won’t hit us all.”

Millions of Americans are about to fall out of the healthcare system because someone —in a fancy suit and a cheap heart— decided there’s “no money.”

The solution? Budget scalpels.
The diagnosis? Deficit.
The side effect? Children without pediatricians. Mothers without check-ups. Seniors without a breath of relief.

We’re told to choose between caring for the country and caring for the poor —as if they were different things. As if a country without cared-for poor could still be called civilized.

There are no “market miracles” here. Only politicians who hand out tax breaks to giants and then ask for austerity from those skipping meals.

Do you want to know what really costs us? Cynicism.
And the cowardice of not confronting it in time.

This soapbox isn’t a pulpit, nor a partisan platform.
It’s a place for free words, where voices that don’t fit headlines can rise without permission.

Today we speak of health. But not only hospitals.
We speak of the basic right not to be discarded for lack of coverage, income, or age.

Because if we let that become normal, it’s not just the healthcare system that breaks.
It’s the pact between people who want to live together —not just survive.

So welcome.
Step up if you like.
The mic is yours.
And so is the silence.
